In September I spent a few weeks in Greece.

Our first stop was Sifnos, a small island with a very small population.

I was in love.

Sifnos had an amazing laid back energy that felt so right.

Things are simple.

The crystal blue waters and hilly landscapes breathed tranquility.

The food was fresh, grown on the island and delicious.

The people were friendly and I admired the ease and simplicity with which they lived their lives.

Before we left on this trip, I had this feeling that I was going to have a huge breakthrough while we were there…something that would perhaps change my life and business moving forward.

I waited for this epiphany to happen.

I heard this voice in my head over and over again saying ‘be here now’

Hmmm…that can’t be it.

Way too simple.

What am I supposed to do with that?

But I felt it.

This need to escape from the noise and the distractions that are such a huge part of our every day life.

This largely comes through our connection to the world through the internet and social media.

We are constantly taking in so much information about what everyone else is up to in their lives.

Does it matter?

I know it doesn’t.

All that matters is that I’m living in alignment with my vision for MY LIFE.

The first thing I did was take off my iWatch…I haven’t worn it since.

The next thing was take a break from posting on social media.

Then I set a timer to limit my time on social media each day.

I’m incredibly grateful for the internet and social media because they have been instrumental in connecting with amazing like-minded people all over the world, which has allowed me to build my coaching business.

BUT I feel a need to reevaluate how I’m using it…to ensure that it is serving ME and my audience.

And this is something I do with all of my clients...find marketing that they ENJOY and that makes their lives better.

Each of us is different and the marketing that works best for us is individualized based on our skills, what we enjoy doing, who our ideal client is and what connections we already have.

So when it comes to marketing choose what is going to allow you to 'be here now' while building your business.

This makes the path ✨
